Improvement of the Agricultural Statistical Information System and the Agricultural Information Service for Rural Development in Peru

Public investment project aimed at improving the quality, relevance, reliability and availability of agricultural information in the country, in order to improve the quality of agricultural policies and the incomes of small and medium-scale producers. It includes the improvement of the agricultural statistical information system through the incorporation of probabilistic methods, the use of satellite imagery and the strengthening of the system capacities and equipment; and the provision of price and market opportunity information to producers.
