Visión Amazonía REM II, Colombia

REM Vision Amazonía II is the second phase of the REM Vision Amazonía program. It focuses on the productive transformation of active deforestation hotspots into Forest and Biodiversity Development Hubs (NDFyB), where communities are empowered to stop deforestation and improve their quality of life and that of their families through the sustainable use of timber and non-timber forest products. REM Vision Amazonía supports the Colombian Government's National Deforestation Containment Plan, scaling up the interventions of the first phase and achieving emissions reductions from deforestation both in the Colombian Amazon and across the country. REM Vision Amazonía is responsible for 6 of the 22 NDFyBs outlined in the Colombian Amazon
