Fecha de inicio: 18/12/2018
Fecha de fin: 31/10/2024

Description

The Orinoquia Biocarbon Project - Sustainable Low-Carbon Landscapes was led by the Colombian government and funded by Germany, the United Kingdom, Norway, and the United States through the World Bank's BioCarbon Fund. The project identified and developed alternatives that contributed to improving conditions for sustainable agricultural planning and production, thereby ensuring a reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. In this regard, through collaborative work and the use of methodologies, instruments, and technological tools that enabled GHG reduction, activities were implemented to improve territorial planning for sustainable low-carbon production in six important production chains for Colombia: livestock, rice, oil palm, cocoa, cashew, and commercial forestry.
