Ally for Conservation is a brand created by the National Service of Natural Protected Areas (SERNANP) to distinguish products and services that prioritize the care of nature and the sustainable use of resources, thereby promoting the conservation of biological diversity. Through this brand, SERNANP seeks the conservation of Natural Protected Areas (NPAs), given that it is conditionally granted to licensees to carry out actions that contribute to conservation in the NPAs by applying environmental criteria (for example, maintaining ecosystem characteristics), social criteria (for example, equitable participation of men, women, and youth), and economic criteria (for example, profitable value-added products and services).
