Entrepreneurs for Nature is a competition that aims to promote and strengthen private enterprises for the sustainable use of natural resources associated with Natural Protected Areas (NPA), Regional Conservation Areas (ACR), and Private Conservation Areas (ACP), which contribute to their conservation and generate local economic development.

The budget for this initiative varies depending on the edition or call for proposals. Each cycle has an independent fund administered by SERNANP and PROFONANPE, with resources coming from international cooperation and national counterpart contributions.
