Fecha de inicio: 01/01/2003
Fecha de fin: 01/01/5000

Description

SENA Emprende Rural (SER) is a capacity-building program for rural productive inclusion with an ethnic-differentiated approach that promotes rural entrepreneurship. It is supported by training, entrepreneurship, business support, and employability management processes, with the aim of generating income, addressing unemployment, the low occupational capacity of youth and vulnerable populations in rural areas of the country, and the low productivity of the countryside. It is one of the main government programs contributing to income generation, work, and employment in Colombia's rural areas (APC Colombia, 2018). The program is present in all 32 departments of Colombia and is implemented by the National Training Service (SENA), a national public entity under the Ministry of Labor. SENA provides comprehensive professional training to support the integration and development of individuals in productive activities that contribute to the country's social, economic, and technological development.
