Description

UPRA is a technical entity attached to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Colombia. It was created to guide land management policy for agricultural use. It is responsible for planning and producing guidelines, indicators, and technical criteria to support decision-making on the social ordering of rural land ownership, efficient land use, land improvement, the rural land market, as well as monitoring and evaluating public policies in the aforementioned areas throughout the national territory.

Observations

Two of the planning instruments are presented here: the Productive Zoning Plans by Value Chains (POP) and the Master Plan for Agricultural Productive Transformation for Value Chains.
