Description
Public-private initiative that promotes zero-deforestation cocoa production models to protect and restore the forests and ecosystems linked to the value chain, improve producers' livelihoods and contribute to peace consolidation in Colombia's territories. It operates through a zero-deforestation framework agreement and a 2020-2030 Action Plan that combines agroforestry production models, financial instruments, a monitoring, verification and traceability system, institutional strengthening, and a communication and transparency strategy.
