Mainstreaming Sustainable Cattle Ranching in Colombia

Project that promotes the adoption of environment-friendly silvopastoral production systems in cattle ranching in the project areas of Colombia, to improve natural resource management, enhance the provision of environmental services (biodiversity, land, carbon and water) and raise the productivity of participating farms. It comprises technical assistance and training for ranchers, payment for environmental services schemes to increase connectivity and reduce land degradation, the strengthening of subsector institutions with dissemination and monitoring of results, and project management.
