Sustainable Forest Development Program for Welfare 2024

The program aims to support landowners, rightful possessors, and inhabitants of forest areas in implementing actions that contribute to the protection, conservation, restoration, and incorporation into sustainable forest management of forest lands, preferably forested and temporarily forested lands; as well as the strengthening of value chains, which in turn contribute to the adaptation and mitigation of the effects of Climate Change. The program foresees the execution of the following components: Component I. Community Forest Management and Value Chains for Well-being (MFCCV). Component II. Commercial Forest Plantations and Agroforestry Systems for Well-being (PFC). Component III. Forest Restoration of Micro-basins and Strategic Regions for Well-being (RFM). Component IV. Ecosystem Services for Well-being (SA). Component V. Forest Protection for Well-being (PF).
