Description

Strengthen sustainable agricultural production systems for cocoa farms that reduce pressure on the expansion of the agricultural frontier and generate income for small producers. The specific objectives of the project are: (i) to improve the cocoa production model by introducing agroforestry systems in cocoa plantations in five of the country's departments (Caquetá, Meta, Santander, Arauca and Boyacá); and (ii) to provide agricultural extension services aimed at improving productivity, environmental sustainability, closing gender gaps and strengthening the value chain for access to differentiated markets to improve the income of small producers.
