Description
The Biodiversity Finance Initiative (BIOFIN) is a global partnership that comprehensively addresses the challenge of financing biodiversity-related actions. It aims to help governments build a strong case for increased investment in the conservation, sustainable use and equitable sharing of benefits from ecosystems and biodiversity, with a particular focus on identifying and meeting the funding needs of the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan.
