Description

The main objective of the project was to increase the adaptive capacity and resilience of small family agricultural producers in the face of the impacts of climate change and its variability, especially in the face of intense hydrometeorological events such as droughts and floods. Specific objectives included: increasing the resilience of these producers in the northeast, strengthening hydrometeorological and agroproductive monitoring systems to improve institutional capacity in the evaluation of climate changes and their impacts, and strengthening institutional capacity at all levels for decision-making. of decisions and management of adaptation measures to climate change in northern Argentina. The project strategy focused on promoting comprehensive management and active participation of all key actors, including beneficiaries, through an inter-institutional approach throughout the implementation cycle.
