Promoting sustainable rural economic development

Technical cooperation project to strengthen sustainable and inclusive rural economic development in Meta, Norte de Santander and Caquetá (Colombia), aiming to increase the income and employment of economically disadvantaged populations, with emphasis on youth, through partnerships among local, regional and national actors. It promotes farmers markets, certification of good agricultural practices, ecotourism, and sustainable livestock and fish farming, and the replication of these approaches in other regions of the country.
