Description

The project aims to: provide two (2) organic biopreparations as an input for the suppression of rust (Hemileia vastatrix) and rooster's eye (Mycena citricolor), the most aggressive diseases of coffee. In addition, to have two (2) organic solutions as an attractant for the management of the coffee berry borer (Hypothenemus hampei), in order to contribute to agroecology and not worry about buying methanol-ethanol as the only solution. Including improving the nutritional components of the soil to optimal range, by adding organic fertilizer (Compost, Bocashi and Lombricompost), to make the plant more tolerant to phytosanitary problems. In this sense, it is also intended to identify two (2) coffee cultivars tolerant to major pests and adapted with high yields to be recommended in production systems. Finally, the adoption and acceptance of MIC project technologies by CNB coffee growers is also foreseen. It is expected that five (5) of the technologies offered will be accepted by producers.
