Incentive for Rural Capitalization to support small and medium farmers in Colombia

The Ministry allocated a total of 153.3 billion pesos for the Incentivo a la Capitalización Rural (ICR), a tool through which the National Government offers benefits to farmers to reduce their loan balances. The goal is to boost food production, enhance technology, and increase the profitability of agricultural projects. The government will cover up to 40% of project costs for low-income small producers, 30% for small producers, and 25% for medium producers.
