Incentive for Rural Capitalization to support coffee renewal in Colombia

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Colombia announced an investment of $382 billion for the agricultural sector, of which $50,000 million will be allocated specifically to coffee growers through a Rural Capitalization Incentive (ICR). This fund seeks to support the renewal of 100,000 hectares of coffee crops this year. In addition, access to the ICR will be facilitated for coffee growers who acquire productive credits, allowing them to receive up to 40% of the value of the credit in support, especially aimed at low-income producers.
