Panama Agro Solidario Credit Program

The loans approved under this special program will be at a 0% interest rate per agricultural cycle. The program is aimed at promoting the agricultural, livestock and artisanal fishing sectors. Activities for the agricultural sector will be financed (basic grains, roots and tubers, vegetables, bananas, and primitive bananas). Similarly, the livestock sector (swine, fattening cattle, breeding cattle, dairy cattle, poultry, sheep and goats, beekeeping and artisanal fishing) will be granted loans for an amount of up to 100 thousand balboas at 0% interest.
