Supporting the implementation of a climate-smart rural landscape in Colombia

The project aims to support Colombia's transition toward a greener and more social economy, within the framework of its green growth strategy, in order to improve rural incomes and livelihoods and reduce vulnerability to climate change. To this end, it strengthens the capacities of local authorities and stakeholders to formulate investment planning instruments that incorporate climate change impacts and mitigation opportunities, and promotes climate-smart agricultural and forestry investments through adapted land-use management.
