Combating climate change in agriculture: supporting Agrobanco's strategy for mitigation and adaptation to climate change in the rural areas

This project aims to support Peru's main financial instrument for agriculture, Agrobanco, to fulfill its mission of developing sustainable agriculture in the country. Through LACIF, together with AFD, the EU supports Agrobanco in the integration of climate change mitigation and adaptation in Peru's agricultural sector. Project activities include a technical assistance program to increase Agrobanco's portfolio of green projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and green investment grants to finance climate adaptation and mitigation projects that need the most incentives.
