Description

The objective of the project was to contribute to the dissemination of production chains and short circuits as new marketing models for Family Farming in the region. Based on the characterization of the institutional innovations developed in the area of commercialization of family agriculture (with special emphasis on productive chains and short circuits), both in Latin America and in other regions of the world, in order to disseminate these models and collaborate with the design of public policies that promote their adoption and replication. In-depth evaluation of the most relevant cases, in order to extract models of action and lessons learned that can be replicated later, either by public organizations or private entities. Promotion of the exchange of experiences between groups of farmers, agro-industrial companies, consumer organizations and public authorities, in order to disseminate these new operating models. Generation of new conceptual and methodological tools to improve the management of projects and marketing experiences and the design and management of public policies for their promotion.
