Integrated Management to Combat Desertification, Land Degradation and Adaptation to Climate Change (GIDDACC)

Public investment project aimed at combating desertification, land degradation and drought, while strengthening climate change adaptation through local conservation and development initiatives. It included sustainable land management, soil conservation, plot-level irrigation, water harvesting, reforestation, training, information generation, coordination with local governments and the updating of national instruments, incorporating gender equality and intercultural approaches.
