Cartagena Agreement Agricultural Development Program This intervention, by promoting sustainable and resilient agri-food systems focused on the food security of rural families, supports local agroecological production with a dual purpose: to ensure a healthy supply of food for self-consumption and to generate marketable surpluses that strengthen household economies. It fosters productive practices with a territorial, sustainable, and inclusive approach, which values traditional knowledge, reduces external dependency, and contributes to the productive integration of local economies in the Andean region.
