The present Program aims to provide the State with a planning instrument that integrates, articulates, and coordinates public actions and policies regarding Climate Change in the Entity, promoting the linkage of government, academia, and civil society, so that Climate Change can be understood in the international, national, state, and municipal context. It is worth mentioning that this version of the PEACC is pioneering in terms of programs of this nature, as it aligns its mitigation and adaptation actions with the State Development Plan 2017-2023 and the Sustainable Development Goals of the Agenda 2030.
