Nayarit Climate Action Program

The government of the state of Nayarit recognizes climate change as one of the most important environmental problems to be faced in this century, so it has initiated actions aimed at combating the effects of climate change; these actions will be based on the objectives and strategies outlined in the six-year development plans and in the Nayarit Climate Action Program, in three main areas: reducing greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs), increasing CO2 capture in ecosystems, and promoting measures to adapt to the effects of climate change.
