Climate Change Adaptation Strategies Portfolio for the Municipality of Guadalajara de Buga, Valle del Cauca

Local planning instrument developed by the Regional Autonomous Corporation of Valle del Cauca in 2013 to support Guadalajara de Buga in identifying and prioritizing measures for adaptation to climate variability and climate change. The portfolio organizes measures around food sovereignty and security, environmentally sustainable production systems, integrated water-resource management, ecosystem conservation, climate-risk management, capacity building and development and transfer of appropriate adaptation technologies, supported by an interinstitutional coordination mechanism.
