The National Plan for Disaster Risk Reduction (PNRRD) for the period 2016-2022 is a national instrument that has the general objective of reducing the vulnerability of the agricultural sector to disaster risks caused by climate variability and change. climate. Its specific objectives include mainstreaming risk management, improving risk assessment and communication, developing instruments for risk reduction and adaptation to climate change, and strengthening disaster preparedness mechanisms. The guiding principles of the Plan include sustainability, equity, responsibility and permanente action.
