The National Development Plan explains its priority objectives, states the national problems and lists the solutions in a six-year projection. It has different axes as its main lines. Within "Politics and Government", the National Public Security Strategy is developed, which establishes the following objectives: eradicate corruption and reactivate the administration of justice; guarantee employment, education, health and well-being; full respect for human rights, ethical regeneration of institutions and society; and reformulation of the fight against drugs. The "Social Policy" axis establishes different programs for older adults, people with disabilities, and youth, to promote agriculture, urban development and housing, education, health, and culture.
