Fecha de inicio: 31/12/2013
Fecha de fin: N/A

Description

This plan addresses climate change adaptation as a crucial element within land use planning and is integrated with other planning tools such as the Land Use Plan and the Risk Management Plan. Plan 4C seeks to make Cartagena a model of sustainable development in Latin America, focusing on making the city resilient to future climate effects. It includes the creation of an adapted neighborhood for vulnerable communities, the promotion of a sustainable tourism sector, the protection of historical heritage, and the promotion of a port and industrial zone that considers future climate needs. It also proposes to restore the city's ecological balance to ensure its resilience. Cartagena seeks to inspire other cities to adopt similar measures, ensuring their viability and that of their inhabitants in the face of climate change.
