Plan for the Agricultural and Rural Sector with Comprehensive Development (PSARDI) “Rural and Agrarian Revolution” 2016-2020.

It is the plan based on the Plan of the Rural, Agrarian and Forestry Revolution 2007-2010 that sought the restructuring of the national productive system that existed until then, with the creation of new deconcentrated entities for greater state participation, and with a focus on family production for domestic consumption. Likewise, the Plan is also based on the Plan for the Agricultural and Rural Sector with Comprehensive Development (PSARDI) “Rural and Agrarian Revolution 2010-2015. This plan followed the guidelines of the 2007-2010 plan, in addition to establishing sectoral strategic axes to guide the policies to be implemented. In 2016, the Ministry of Rural Development and Lands launched the new PSARDI 2016-2020, which replaced the Agricultural Sector Development Plan. The PSARDI reaffirmed the policies defined previously, within the long-term routes defined by the Patriotic Agenda 2025 and the current laws of the sector.
