INVENTORY: Land Use, Land-Use Change, and Forestry Module

n the Land Use, Land-Use Change, and Forestry (LULUCF) module, emissions and absorptions of carbon dioxide (CO2) caused by human activities related to land-use change and the management of mainly forested lands are calculated. Similarly, emissions of gases other than CO2, such as methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and carbon monoxide (CO) generated by burning related to the conversion of forests and grasslands are estimated.
