Description

The Law on Mitigation and Adaptation to the Effects of Climate Change for the State of Hidalgo establishes the framework for climate action in the state, including mitigation and adaptation to climate change. The law establishes a state climate action system, which is led by SEMARNAT. The law has the objectives of mitigating GHG emissions, adapting the state to the impacts of climate change, and promoting civil society participation.
