The National Inventory Report focuses on greenhouse gas emissions from 1990 to 2021. In its third part, this report presents detailed data by IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) sector, as well as by Canadian economic sector, in addition to provide specific provincial and territorial emissions. The document also includes analysis of electricity emissions in Canada, providing summary tables and intensities. Each section of the report is dedicated to a specific aspect of emissions, allowing a detailed breakdown by gas type and emission source, from energy to industrial processes and product use, agriculture, land use, land use change and forestry, and waste.
