Description

The Regional Agro-Environmental and Health Strategy (ERAS) is a regional initiative, agreed upon and led by the Councils of Ministers of Agriculture, Environment and Health (CAC, CCAD and COMISCA) belonging to the economic, environmental and social subsectors of the Integration System. Central American. The ERAS constitutes a model for the transversal approach to socioeconomic and environmental management. It is based on five interrelated strategic axes: (i) Sustainable Land Management; (ii) Climate Change and Climate Variability; (iii) Biodiversity; (iv) Agro-environmental Businesses; (v) Healthy Spaces and Lifestyles. The Strategy includes a set of lines of action and general measures; as well as organizational forecasts for its execution under a unified intersectoral regional vision. Likewise, the ERAS aims to resume, harmonize, strengthen and follow up on related policies and instruments, existing or in the process of being formulated.
