Description

The National Climate Change Strategy is an intersectoral instrument whose function is to guide concerted, ordered and planned action on climate change adaptation and mitigation in Ecuador. The document has national scope and covers the period between 2012 and 2025. Within the vision of the Strategy for the year 2025, Ecuador promptly manages the challenges of climate change, guaranteeing Good Living and the rights of nature. The document is made up of two Strategic Lines: 1) Adaptation to climate change; 2) Mitigation of climate change.
