Start Date: 21/09/2021
End Date: N/A

Description

It is the instrument that defines the general long-term guidelines that the country will follow in a transversal and integrated manner, considering a 30-year horizon, to face the challenges presented by climate change; move towards development low in greenhouse gas emissions, until reaching and maintaining emissions neutrality; reduce vulnerability and increase resilience to the adverse effects of climate change; and thus, comply with the international commitments assumed by the State of Chile on the matter. The Long-Term Climate Strategy is the roadmap that contains the goals that will allow these objectives to be achieved no later than 2050.
