National Climate Change Adaptation Plan 2016-2021.

The National Climate Change Adaptation Plan is an articulating instrument of Paraguayan public policy in the area of climate change adaptation, whose purpose is to incorporate adaptation and risk management and reduction actions to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development through sectoral and local adaptation plans. The specific objectives of the Plan are: a) to constitute the conceptual framework for adaptation in Paraguay; b) to identify vulnerable sectors and define adaptation guidelines; c) to establish the institutional framework under which the National Adaptation Plan and the Sectoral Plans will operate; d) to define cross-cutting actions to the sectors as necessary requirements for adaptation to Climate Change.
