The Regional Technical Commission on Climate Change and Biodiversity has developed a series of measures that require us to adapt to this new reality, all of them are included in a document called Regional Strategy for adaptation to climate change in the La Libertad Region, which is based on six strategic lines, having as a premise that the new scenarios will generate negative and positive effects and that, therefore, adaptation measures must seek to simultaneously reduce the negative effects and enhance the positive ones. That is, by reducing vulnerability, the risks of the threats that arise will decrease, and efforts must be made, at the same time, for the populations to move towards their own development.
