Sustainable agriculture strategy adapted to climate

The Central American Agricultural Council (CAC), approved the Sustainable Agriculture Strategy adapted to the climate for the SICA region: 2018-2030 (EASAC), in its extraordinary meeting held on June 28 and 29, 2017 in San José, Costa Rica ; as the key instrument to promote a more competitive, inclusive and sustainable agriculture adapted to the effects of climate change and climate variability, which increases productivity through the conservation and sustainable and efficient use of water, biodiversity, soil and of the forest, in order to guarantee food and nutritional security.
