IDB: Country Strategy with Honduras 2019-2022 (GN˗2944)

The central objective of the EBP 2019-2022 is to promote higher and more inclusive growth. To this end, the Bank will organize its interventions around three pillars: (i) strengthening fiscal institutions and spending efficiency; (ii) accumulation of human capital; and (iii) expansion of sustainable productive opportunities. Actions will be incorporated that promote the empowerment of women and diversity, adaptation to climate change, and the use of new technologies to achieve greater impact in the interventions. Institutional strengthening and the targeting and articulation of interventions in the population and territories in poverty will be key aspects of implementation. The EBP is aligned with the Update of the IDBs 2016-2019 Institutional Strategy and the 2017-2019 IDB Invest Business Plan and its Update (CII/GA-77-4)
