Law No. 15,429/2026: Voluntary Participation in the Certification System for Agricultural Product Warehouses

Law No. 15,429 of June 5, 2026 amends Article 2 of Law No. 9,973 of May 29, 2000 to establish that the certification system created by the Ministry of Agriculture for the qualification of warehouses used for the storage and conservation of agricultural products shall be based on voluntary participation. The Ministry is responsible for establishing the technical and operational conditions and the relevant documentation required for warehouse qualification.
