SICA One Health Strategy 2026-2030

The One Health Strategy of the Central American Integration System 2026-2030, jointly approved by COMISCA, CAC and CCAD, establishes a regional framework for implementing the One Health approach across SICA Member States. The Strategy integrates public health, animal health, plant health and environmental health through five strategic lines aimed at strengthening intersectoral coordination, developing capacities and a multisectoral workforce, improving diagnostic capacities, consolidating integrated surveillance systems and reducing regional vulnerability to health, environmental and climate-related threats.
