Resolution No. 1,050/026: Horticultural Emergency for Producers in Salto and Neighboring Departments

Resolution No. 1,050/026 of Uruguay's Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries declares a horticultural emergency for producers in the department of Salto and for verified individual cases in neighboring departments affected by the weather event of July 18, 2026 and identified by the General Directorate of Horticulture. The preliminary assessment estimated that approximately 300 hectares of crops and 300 producers were affected. The resolution authorizes the General Directorate of Horticulture to provide financial support to affected producers through the Horticultural Development Fund.
