Legislative Decree No. 608: Budget Allocation for PROGRESAR Rural

Legislative Decree of El Salvador amending the 2026 Budget Law to incorporate US$554,615 from an International Fund for Agricultural Development loan to initiate implementation of the Sustainable, Inclusive and Nutritional Economic Development Programme for Rural Areas (PROGRESAR Rural). The resources finance investments in productive systems development, productive and commercial transformation, and programme management and monitoring, including institutional and community capacities, natural resource management, environment, climate, and food and nutrition security.
