Colombia: Decree 107 of 2025 - Adoption of measures for the protection of agricultural areas, production and supply chains, and agri-food systems, within the framework of the State of Internal Disturbance

This legislative decree, issued under the State of Internal Commotion declared due to the severe public order disruption in the Catatumbo region, adopts extraordinary measures to protect agricultural activities, productive and supply chains, and the human right to food in areas affected by armed conflict. It empowers the Rural Development Agency to directly contract goods, services, and support with public entities and farmer organizations, allocates a share of agricultural parafiscal contributions to sustain local productive chains, and instructs AGROSAVIA and ICA to safeguard and distribute seeds and plant material among affected peasant and ethnic communities.
