Colombia: Decree 212 of 2026 - Plan for the Urgent, Productive, Sustainable and Resilient Reactivation of agri-food systems, supply chains and the right to food and rural livelihoods affected

This decree adopts an urgent reactivation plan to support agricultural, fishing, and aquaculture producers across eight departments hit by extraordinary flooding, under the Economic, Social and Ecological Emergency declared in February 2026. It broadens the definition of agricultural inputs to include tools, light machinery, biological assets, and technical land-preparation services, empowers the National Land Adequacy Fund and the Agricultural Inputs Access Fund with expedited procedures and extraordinary funding sources, and eases environmental permitting for subsistence and small-scale aquaculture producers.
