Strengthening Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance in Colombia and Bolivia

The Action to support implementation of Codex AMR texts (ACT) project supports Colombia and the Plurinational State of Bolivia in strengthening antimicrobial resistance surveillance in the food and agriculture sectors. The initiative contributes to improving laboratory capacities, participation in interlaboratory programmes, quality management, technical training and AMR detection under a One Health approach, with participation from the National Laboratory for Livestock Inputs of the Colombian Agricultural Institute and laboratories of Bolivia’s National Service for Agricultural Health and Food Safety.
