USDA Funding for the Local Agriculture Market Program

The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced $32.4 million in funding available through the Local Agriculture Market Program (LAMP), administered by the Agricultural Marketing Service. The program supports the development, coordination and expansion of local and regional food markets, direct producer-to-consumer marketing, local food enterprises and regional partnerships among producers, processors, intermediaries and institutional markets. LAMP includes the Farmers Market Promotion Program, the Local Food Promotion Program and Regional Food System Partnerships.
