Proposed Amendments to Canada’s Susceptible Species of Aquatic Animals List

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency conducted a public consultation on proposed amendments to the susceptible species of aquatic animals list, which is incorporated by reference into the Health of Animals Regulations. The proposal updates mollusc species susceptible to diseases of concern, including additions, removals, changes to susceptibility profiles and taxonomic name updates, based on scientific assessments and World Organisation for Animal Health standards.
