New Regulatory Regime for Tobacco and Nicotine Products in Argentina

Argentina approved a new regulatory framework for next-generation tobacco and nicotine products, including electronic cigarettes, heated tobacco products and nicotine pouches. The measure replaces the previous prohibition-based approach with a system of registration, sanitary control, traceability, enforcement, labeling and marketing requirements, aiming to strengthen health safety, organize the market and control the production, import and sale of these products.
